whether the structure is artificial
or a rock formation.

Why, of course this is just
a "natural formation"......

While inspecting some NASA MARS photos,
I was amazed to see this cone like object next to a large cavern or crater .It looks very much out of place to me.
Of course we just don't know what "nature"
is like on Mars,but our gut-instincts
won't
let us accept images like this as "natural" until we stand before them in person.
